About
Come and be a part of our tutoring ministry at Metro Life Church and make a direct impact on the academic life of a child.
What
We help students of all ages with their homework and work to improve their knowledge of basic concepts. We encourage the students to stay in school and keep working hard. The drop-out rate in Detroit, where our students go to school, is very high and we want to help ensure their success by providing them with support to graduate school.
Who
ANYONE can come out and be a volunteer. We help students from Kindergarten – 12th grade so we can use help with all levels of academics. If you can read or do basic math, you are needed! Our tutors come out as often as they can, even if it’s only one time a month, it helps!
When
Thursday Nights during the academic school year (September-June) from 6pm-7pm.
